everydaymatters challenge #100 - 'Draw or paint a landscape'
I got home from work 15 minutes early today. There was a strange, orangey light as a rain shower approached. For once, I decided to seize the moment and made a ham-fisted attempt to capture the scene.
The fixing spray doesn't seem to have done the pastels much good but it was only a quick sketch so I'm not too bothered.
The landscape is the parkland opposite my house.

I think this will have to be challenge #26 - 'Draw anything you like. If you want to draw a vegetable, that's fine, too'.
I drew and painted this in the same style as the keys from last week. It didn't work as well - could have done with being a bit more fluid. The paints and paper let me down, but then they say only a bad workman blames his tools.
Couldn't resist the bright colours of the chillis, which were lying around in the kitchen. I'm finding myself drawn to bright colours. I can't remember painting anything brightly coloured when I was at school; tended to stick to stuff like pine cones, bits of wood and horses.
The chillis came from Zambia.
